Padmashree Dr. Kamalhasan's next super cop thriller "Vettaiyadu Vilayadu" had already created lot of buzz in the Kollywood. The crew has just returned from shooting exclusively in New York, where Kamal acts a detective from India. The movie is directed by none other than "Kakka Kakka" fame Gowtham. The movie  is interesting as his earlier cop movie was a great hit. In fact actor Surya, whose inspiration is Kamal had done a wonderful job and now the whole Tamil film industry is waiting for his mentors show. Jothika acts as heroine of this movie and Harris Jeyaraj scores the music. In fact the music industry is waiting for this song album to get released as his earlier movies "Anniyan" and "Ghajini" are great blockbusters. He has roped in three US bands Curry Lil Fizz, Ankhenaton and Top Dollar to be part of the music in this film.

The film was supposed to be produced by Kaja Moideen but after the suicide drama and financial mishaps seventh channel Narayanan turned out to be the new producer.

Kamal is one hero, who had made the entire Tamil cinema industry proud. He tries always different and he acts as the character. It would be a great excitement to watch him play as cop. One of the fitting examples is, his earlier  movie "Kuruthipunal". He celebrated his birthday on Nov 7, while shooting for this movie and hope this movie's success provides a fitting birthday gift to this legendary actor. Ravi verma handles the camera work for this movie. It is expected to be released  this April for Tamil New year.
