Plus:
Susi Ganesan's script and swift screenplay with lots
of twists , Malavika's
performance
Buzz:
Some logical flaws , Malavika's character is not
perfectly finished in the climax , Dubbing
Thiruttu Payalae is directed by
Susi Ganesan , who gave his best in Five star and
Virumbugiraen . He is back after a brief gap and
bounced back in to kollywood with this youthful
thriller. The movie stars Jeevan , who made his
debut in University and played baddie in Kaka Kaka .
The movie also stars Sonia Agarwal , Abbas and
Malavika .
The movie starts with Jeevan playing a rogue in his native village and
been sent by his parents to Chennai to get settle
down with the help of his uncle.Abbas plays a rich
business man who is married to a malayali and living
with kids and Malavika plays wife of rich guy Manoj
who is Abbas best friend.Jeevan gets to stay at his
uncles apartments from where he sees the lustful
relationship between Abbas and Malavika. He
understands that they are not related and they
continue to have an illegal affair . Taking
advantage of their affair he captures their
relationship in his handy cam and blackmails them .
He comes with a demand not for a lump sum of money,
but rich life throughout his lifetime. Malavika
agrees for that and he demands that he and his
friends needs to spend sometime in Australia ,
Malavika agrees for it .
Jeevan gets to meet Sonia
Agarwal in Australaia and is attracted by her beauty
. He falls in love with her . Meanwhile Jeevan comes
to know that all their passports have been stolen
and Sonia's love is a plot that was deployed by
Malavika to get rid of Jeevan's trouble forever. But
how Jeevan wins Sonia's heart and what happens to Malavika and Abbas forms the climax.
Vivek plays a
Srilankan tamil in
Australia and his introduction scene involving
Namitha fan club in Australia bursts laughter in the
hall , but rest of the scenes lacks his touch. Jeevan
played his part well and Malavika has done this
baddie with perfection . Sonia Agarwal just comes in
a very few sequences. Susi Ganesan has infact worked
on this difficult script and came out with a racy
thriller which is like a fresh air than normal
masala movies these days.
Bold attempt by Susi Ganesan !!!
