1. Neruape : (Sowmya, Frankom Solar Sai)
The album starts with this catchy number sung by
Fankom Solar sai. Sowmya provides the humming.
Frankom’s voice seems to have touch of Jessica gift
. The song concludes with a beautiful note.
2. Karka Karka (Devan , Tippu , Nakul, Andrea)
This song is in talk for a while now and probably
Kamalhassan’s intro number . The song starts in a
hip-hop style sung by Andrea , which can be seen in
the trailers. Though not a fast number the use of
this hip-hop style tune adds to the pace of the
song. Devan and Tippu did a amazing job .The pace of
the song is too slow for an intro number , that
makes the lyrics clear.
3.Manjal Veyil : (Hariharan , Vijay , Nakul)
Hariharan is back in business. This solo number is
just a right come back for Hariharan. The use of
Saxophone midway in the song is just the class of
Harris Jeyaraj. Again this number is also slow and
the lyrics are crystal clear.
4.Partha Mudhal Nala: (Bombay Jeyashree, Unnimenon)
Vaseegara from Minalae , Ondra renda from Kaka Kaka
, Sutrum Vili from Ghajini and now comes one more
romantic number from Harris Jeyaraj- Bombay
Jeyashree combination. Unni Menon joins with
Jeyashree in this number. The song starts with a
Mouthorgan piece followed by the Husky voice of
Bombay jeyashree which is just a treat to listeners.
Lyrics used in this number makes the song more
romantic.
5. Uyrilea : (Mahalakshi Iyer, Srinivas)
The album concludes with this melody number by
Srinivas and Mahalakshmi . The song reminds us of
the album 12 B and has some similarities to Poovae
vai pesum pothu.
Its tough to decide the pick of the album as each
song has different styles. Automatic choices would
be Partha Mudhal nala and Karka karka . But we have
to wait a few more days as to which number leads the
chartbusters. None of the songs are racy and Harris
jeyaraj has avoided use of too many instruments that
make the lyrics clear.
