BSNL expands 3G services to TN
Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) has expanded its
3G services in the first phase to 3 places in
TamilNadu - Coimbatore, Ooty and Coonoor.
Announcing this on Sunday, Jan 24, BSNL said
that in the coming 3 months the services would
gradually be extended to 38 cities across Tamil
Nadu.

BSNL which has 3G services currently available in 300
cities and more than 7.5 lakh 3G subscribers, also has
plans to launch 3G services in 700 Indian cities by July
2010. BSNL's 3G services include video calling,
real-time multilayer gaming and high speed internet
connectivity upto 3.1 mbps.
