Bala's next is Avan Ivan

Filmmaker Bala, who has been adjudged Best
Director for his Tamil film 'Naan Kadavul' at
the 56th National Film Awards recently, promises
to tickle the funny bone of the audiences in his
upcoming venture. Announcing the launch of his
next film 'Avan-Ivan', Bala promised more humour
content in 'Avan Ivan', the story about two
siblings, played by actors Vishal and Arya.
Film will start rolling shortly and will be
completed within six months. Janani Iyer is one
of the heroines, replacing actor Sarathkumar’s
daughter Varalakshmi, who was the first choice.
Avan Ivan is produced by AGS Entertainment.

He chose to thank his crew members for 'Naan Kadavul'
for the National award and not God saying "he (God)
played no role" in front or behind the camera.The
director, however, regretted his lead characters in 'Naan
Kadavul', Arya and Puja, were not selected for national
honors. On the controversy surrounding use of influence
to receive awards, he said, "It is not a candy that you
buy. You will get the award only if you do something.
