Karunanidhi congratulates Sivanthi Adhithan

Chennai (PTI): Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi on Sunday congratulated Sivanthi Adhithan, the owner of Tamil daily "Daily Thanthi", for being chosen for the PadmaSri from the President.

In a statement here, Karunanidhi said "I am extremely happy that you are receiving the prestigious PadmaSri award from Her excellency the President of India.

You richly deserve the award and it is most appropriate that you have been chosen for the award."

He said the print media in Tamil Nadu would be very glad over this grand occasion.
