Tamil Nadu Govt sanctions Rs ten crore for Bihar

Tamil Nadu government on Thursday sanctioned Rs Ten crore for flood relief operations in Bihar.

The check for the amount was sent to the Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar this morning, an official press release said.

Expressing his deep sorrow over the sufferings of the people of that state due to the floods, Chief Minister M Karunanidhi sanctioned the amount from the Chief Minister's public relief fund, the release said.
