CHENNAI: Chandrayaan project
director Mylsamy Annadurai called on Chief
Minister M Karunanidhi to discuss the ‘Science
and Tamil session’ to be held as part of the
research sessions during the World Classical
Tamil Conference.

Answering queries put forth by
mediapersons, Annadurai said 50 scientists who had
studied through Tamil medium and now working in
international organisations such as NASA would be taking
part in the session. Research papers would be submitted
during the session explaining their achievements in
their respective field. Annadurai has been appointed the
in-charge of Science and Tamil Session. Responding to a
question, he said works on Chandrayaan- II were on and
it would be launched towards the end of 2012 or in early
2013. At present, scientists were identifying the place
where the spacecraft could land in moon and do
researches for about six months.
