Trane Inc
launches centre in Chennai
US-based
$7.45 billion HVAC systems (heating,ventilation
and air conditioning ) company Trane Inc today
announced the setting up of its first design
centre in India and seventh globally.

This design center in Chennai which is
Trane's second centre in Asia after
Sanghai, China will be a global hub for
its R&D efforts. This R&D center in
Chennai will employ 100 people initially
with plans to double at a later stage.. |
The company which has 50 manufacturing units
worldwide plans to spread its base in India by
setting up facilities in Hyderabad and Kolkata.
The company currently has four manufacturing
centres in Delhi, Bangalore, Mumbai and Chennai
