Director Gautam Menon gets busy with his next venture, `Pachaikili Muthucharam.'


RAIN DANCE: Pachaikili Muthucharam

Shooting was going on at a brisk pace for Oscar Films' "Pachaikili Muthucharam' on the outskirts of Chennai, a bungalow off ECR to be precise. The lead pair — Sarat Kumar and Andrea — was waiting for the arrival of director Gautam Menon.

The unit hands got busy as Menon entered. The moment he shouted `Start,'a hose snaked up and water gushed out falling like rain. The duo danced, a song playing in the background, with the cinematographer Aravind Krishna capturing the scene. Satisfied, Gautam cut the shot and asked the pair to change their clothes for the next.

Jyotika as housewife

Gautam Menon is confident that his film will be liked by people from all walks of life. "The hero, an amiable person, makes a mistake that proves costly. It is time for action and the hero in him is aroused and he sets about rectifying things. How he manages it forms the climax," he said.

This will be Jyotika's first film after marriage. She does the role of a housewife.

Harris Jayaraj scores the music with the lyrics written by Thamarai and actor Rohini.

Anthony does the editing and dances are choreographed by Brinda.
