Walt Disney to make Telugu film and dub in Tamil
 
After the high response to the Hindi animated
movie, The Walt Disney Company in India is
planning to release a Telugu film by January
2011.Focusing on the South Indian audiences, it
also plans to dub the movie in Tamil language
and has commenced production in November
2009.The movie is being directed by National
Award winning Prakash Rao Kovelamudi and
features actors like Siddharth Narayan and
Shruti Haasan. Disney first started operations
in India in 2004 and in 2008 it released
"Roadside Romeo", its first, full-length
animation feature in Hindi.

The untitled adventurous fantasy film focuses on the
journey of a nine year old girl with special healing
powers and how she saves her home from oppression of an
evil queen, played by actress Lakshmi Manchu. The girl
is protected by a blind swordsman and her healing
powers.
