Invite to Rajapaksa slammed

CHENNAI: Marumalarchi Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam general secretary Vaiko and Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi leader Thol Thirumavalavan condemned the Union government's decision to invite Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa as chief guest of the valedictory of Commonwealth Games on October 14.  They said people of the Tamilnadu state not only  feel that they couldn't help during the slaughtering of their race but also shocked to see the Indian governments insensitiveness to invite Srilanka's governments head who butchered Tamils during the war last year. They asked the Indian government to cancel the invitation extended to a war criminal.
