Mr. Waszyk said the coffee beans
were hand-picked from plantations of South India
and the company had introduced new technologies
in processing. He said Nestle India continued to
post robust growth in the domestic market driven
by healthy volumes and improved realizations.
Though there was a continuing increase in input
costs, Nestle was capable of offsetting the
pressure through its brand presence. He also
indicated that there might be an increase in
product prices. The company has units in seven
locations in India and with more than 5,000
employees.
